Harper Adams University Interactive Video



Harper Adams University came to Colada with a problem during the COVID-19 pandemic, it needed to offer prospective students a virtual experience as close as possible to a physical visit to campus.

We offered to produce interactive video content in place of the traditional open day. We quickly advised and showed how interactive video can not only replace the traditional open day – but to do it well!

Interactive video is an extremely powerful tool we can use for our clients to enable the user to dictate their own ‘lean forward’ experience and allow the viewer to make their own decisions, just as they would on a traditional open day campus visit.

Depending on the course subject of interest, the user can interact with the video, click on key areas of interest, and view an aerial fly over tour of the campus, which enables them to click on buildings and discover more.

The results from the experience were fantastic and Harper saw high levels of interaction from the video.

We are seeing more of an uptake in interactive video as technology and integration with this platform has become accessible to all users. Interactive can be used for shoppable video, CPD training, virtual tours and more. The possibilities are truly endless, and the statistics and data captured are remarkable.
