Cressex Community School

Cressex Community School, located in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, approached Colada to produce a long form virtual open day video to replace traditional open days during COVID restrictions and to last as a showcase of what makes it unique once restrictions are lifted.

The school wanted to showcase its modern facilities, high educational achievement and positive attitudes to learning. Video was the perfect way to communicate this to prospective students and parents.

In order to effectively replace the experience of a traditional “in person” open evening the video needed to balance duration, to keep the audience interested, and make sure that all key elements are covered.

Collaborating with Cressex Community School senior management team, Colada developed a structure and format for the video that maintains interest and pace that retains viewer retention.

Colada worked with the Cressex team to shortlist elements to capture everything in a single filming day in order to deliver the video to a tight deadline.
